Patrick Lefebvre, Vice President
What was your career path – how did you get to your current position?
I studied mathematics and economics at Laval University in Quebec and then worked at the Ministry of Finance for eight months while doing consulting work part time with Analysis Group. In the early 2000s, Managing Principals Pierre Cremieux and Mark Van Audenrode opened Analysis Group's Montreal office and I joined the company full time working on antitrust litigation cases. After a few years I moved into the outcomes research practice where I work primarily with pharmaceutical companies.
What are some highlights of your time working for Analysis Group?
When I joined the firm eight years ago, AG's Boston office occupied a single floor in Cambridge. I am very fortunate to have been a part of AG during our dramatic growth over the years. During that time, I've had a chance to work on a wide variety of cases and to build my expertise. I'm constantly faced with new challenges here, which has enabled me to continue learning as I grow in my career.
What sets Analysis Group apart from its competition?
Our culture sets us apart. The managing principals run the firm through open communication and they really strive to preserve our special culture. I feel lucky to be part of such a unique firm that truly values the thoughts and ideas of everyone who works here.
What advice would you offer to someone joining Analysis Group?
You will work hard, but you’ll also have an opportunity to learn through both your involvement in a variety of projects and by interacting with talented colleagues. You'll find that your fellow team members will always value your thoughts and ideas and encourage you to contribute regardless of your level at the firm.
What hobbies or activities are you involved in outside of work?
In my free time I enjoy playing golf, but I also like cycling, reading, and traveling. However, since we have snow approximately six months per year over here, I am more often practicing my putting in the living room. I am envious of my colleagues from Los Angeles for their nice weather.
