Summary of Experience:
Professor Hall teaches and does research in the area of organizational strategy, with a focus on performance management and incentive systems. At HBS, he is a member of the Negotiation, Organizations and Markets Unit and a faculty affiliate of the Rock Center for Entrepreneurship. His research has been published in academic and practitioner-oriented journals including the American Economic Review, the Quarterly Journal of Economics, and the Harvard Business Review, and is frequently cited in the national and international financial press. A featured speaker at many conferences and symposia, Professor Hall has provided expert testimony before the U.S. Senate and appeared on CNBC and PBS. He has served as a consultant and adviser to many leading international companies in a variety of sectors. He is currently on leave as Executive Vice President of Alghanim Industries, one of the largest multibusiness companies in the Middle East, with over 5,000 employees in 30 countries.
