    What materials do I need to submit to be considered for a position?

    It depends on the position you are applying for:

    • Analyst – You should submit a résumé, cover letter (including geographic preference), and unofficial transcripts.
    • Associate – You should submit a résumé, cover letter (including geographic preference), and unofficial transcripts. If you are a Ph.D. candidate, you should also include your job market papers and three references.
    Note that applications will not be considered complete unless all materials are submitted.

    How can I find out the status of my application?

    Once you’ve applied to a position, you will receive a confirmation email acknowledging the receipt of your application. You can use your username and password to log in to the system to check your status. If your qualifications and experience match our current hiring needs, you will be contacted for an interview.
    Where can I find information about your upcoming undergraduate and M.B.A. recruitment events?

    We visit a number of schools each fall. For a list of events, visit AG on Campus in the Careers section. Even if your school is not listed, we encourage you to apply.
    I’m not sure if I should apply for the analyst or associate position. What are the requirements?

    If you have an undergraduate degree, or a master’s degree with no relevant work experience, you should apply for the analyst position. If you have a master’s degree with relevant work experience, or an M.B.A. or Ph.D., you should apply for the associate position.
    When should I submit my application?

    Analysis Group accepts applications at any time. Our primary recruiting for full-time opportunities begins in September and concludes in March. Internship recruiting begins in November and concludes in March.
    What if I’m interested in applying to multiple locations?

    Please list your geographic preferences in your cover letter to be considered for multiple locations.

    Do you hire summer interns?

    Yes, we hire summer interns for our analyst and associate positions. Internship opportunities are typically posted on our website in mid-November. Internship recruiting begins in November and concludes in March.
    If I’m not selected for a summer internship, can I apply for a full-time position?

    Yes, we have a select number of spots for our summer interns. If you are not selected for an internship, we strongly encourage you to apply for a full-time position.
    Do you hire only rising seniors for analyst summer internships?

    Not necessarily. Most of our summer interns are rising seniors; however, we will consider applications from all undergraduate and master’s degree students.
    Do you hire associate-level candidates for summer internships?

    Yes, we do hire a small number of summer associate interns (both M.B.A. and Ph.D. candidates).
    Does Analysis Group hire foreign nationals to work in its U.S. offices?

    Yes, Analysis Group will sponsor work authorization.
    Are internships paid or volunteer positions?

    Internships are paid positions at Analysis Group.
