Dr. Watson applies her background in economics, finance, and mathematics to problems of business litigation. She has experience with complex litigation disputes, including many facets of securities litigation and evaluation of sophisticated damage models. She has applied econometric methods to analyze the effects of changes in accounting items, such as earnings and pension discount rates, on firm valuations. Her work includes analyses related to structured finance products, employee stock options, insider trading, executive compensation, hedge fund investment strategies, loss profit, and online search advertising platform competition.
