Summary of Experience:
Ms. Bieri is an economist experienced in intellectual property valuation, as well as in energy-related fields. She has managed cases and supported expert testimony involving the calculation of damages associated with copyright, trademark and patent infringement, and unfair competition. Damages calculations have included lost profits, reasonable royalties, price erosion, price suppression, unjust enrichment, and prejudgment interest. Ms. Bieri's past casework also includes the development of an interactive computer program to estimate the costs and benefits of alternative investments in generation, distribution and transmission planning projects, and the analysis of the market for generation capacity in the context of possible sales and acquisitions of such capacity.
