Summary of Experience:
Dr. Fleming has provided economic analyses in antitrust matters, general business litigations, and regulatory proceedings. Her experience spans a variety of industries including insurance, high technology, managed care, and payment cards. Her recent work has included the assessment of market power and consumer harm in the payment card industry; an analysis of the relationship between alleged improper marketing and off-label sales in the pharmaceutical industry; and the assessment of reimbursement mechanisms for physicians in the managed care industry.
Dr. Fleming also has provided litigation support in the Microsoft antitrust matter, and economic analysis for arbitration proceedings related to the determination of music license fees. Dr. Fleming’s research has focused on provider networks in health care markets.
