Summary of Experience:
Professor Berndt’s primary fields of interest are econometrics, applied microeconomics, health economics, and productivity growth in industries. He is a recognized expert in pricing in the pharmaceutical industry and has been retained as an expert witness in several pharmaceutical cases. Professor Berndt has worked with Analysis Group on numerous assignments, including several health outcomes research projects involving the analysis of prescription drugs, econometric studies on pharmaceutical price growth, and testimony on international drug prices for a congressional health care subcommittee. Professor Berndt is also an expert in energy economics and has published extensively on the application of econometric analyses to energy topics.
