Summary of Experience

Professor White has served as board member of the Federal Home Loan Bank Board and on the senior staff of the President's Council of Economic Advisers. He has also held positions as director of the Economic Policy Office, Antitrust Division, US Department of Justice, and chairman of the Stern School's Department of Economics. Professor White is the author of several books as well as articles in leading economics and law journals. He is editor or coeditor of several volumes, including Deregulation of the Banking and Securities Industries; Mergers and Acquisitions: Current Problems in Perspective; Technology and the Regulation of Financial Markets: Securities, Futures, and Banking; Private Antitrust Litigation: New Evidence, New Learning; The Antitrust Revolution; Bank Management and Regulation; and Structural Change in Banking.
