Summary of Experience

Professor Kemerer's current research interests include management and measurement issues in information systems and software engineering. He has published articles on these topics in a number of leading professional and academic journals, and has served on the editorial boards of many information systems and software industry publications.

He is a former principal of American Management Systems Inc., the Arlington, Virginia-based software development and consulting firm, and a member of INFORMS, ACM, and the IEEE Computer Society.

Professor Kemerer has served as an expert witness in several high-profile software litigations, including In re Microsoft Corporation Antitrust Litigation, Lingo et al. v. Microsoft Corporation, and Lotus Development Corp. v. Borland International, Inc.
