Summary of Experience

Mr. Pilon specializes in health economics and outcomes research. He has conducted analyses for the investigation of, among other topics, clinical efficacy, cost of illness, resource utilization patterns, and treatment patterns in a wide range of therapeutic areas, including asthma, oncology, schizophrenia, depression, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, diabetes mellitus, and cardiovascular diseases.

Mr. Pilon has experience performing retrospective insurance claims database analyses, retrospective electronic medical record studies, and clinical trial data analyses. His research on various health economics topics, including treatment patterns and direct and indirect resource utilization and medical costs, has been presented at numerous international conferences and published in several peer-reviewed journals, including Journal of Managed Care & Specialty Pharmacy, Menopause, Current Medical Research & Opinion, and Thrombosis Research. Mr. Pilon is a member of the International Society of Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR).
