Dr. von Wartburg specializes in the application of econometric methods and microeconomic theory to complex problems in antitrust, finance, commercial litigation, intellectual property, and telecommunications. He has supported our academic affiliates in the preparation of reports and testimony in engagements as diverse as the assessment of class certification claims in technology and financial services industries, the quantification of the economic impact of price-fixing conspiracies, the competitive assessment of horizontal and vertical mergers, and the estimation of damages from breach of contract. Dr. von Wartburg has also served as an economic expert witness on investment and competition in the telecommunications industry. Prior to joining Analysis Group, Dr. von Wartburg lectured on strategy and game theory at the University of British Columbia.
