Mr. Gerstein specializes in the application of economics and finance to litigation matters in the areas of securities, mergers and acquisitions, valuation, and intellectual property. He has experience supporting experts in merger-related litigation involving complex valuation models, including discounted cash flow models and valuation multiples. His case work has also included commercial damages and intellectual property cases involving medical devices, consumer electronics, fitness equipment, computer software, and infant products. In many of these cases, he has developed lost profits damages models involving complicated market share analysis. Mr. Gerstein has assisted in all phases of the litigation process, including expert reports, depositions, and trial preparation.
