Summary of Experience

Dr. Oza specializes in the application of economic, statistical, and market research methods to litigation and strategy matters. She is an expert in designing qualitative and quantitative surveys, including conjoint analysis and discrete choice exercises, of consumer goods in the United States, Canada, the European Union, and East Asia. Her litigation work includes analyzing and designing consumer surveys in the context of patent litigation, false advertising, trademark infringement, and class certification. She has also worked on estimating damages in health care provider-payor disputes, intellectual property, breach of contract, and employment discrimination cases. Dr. Oza has helped pharmaceutical and biotech clients develop pricing and contracting strategies, risk sharing/outcomes-based contracts, and forecast models in various therapeutic areas, including anaphylactic shock, cardiovascular disease, depression, diabetes, multiple sclerosis, oncology, rheumatoid arthritis, and urinary incontinence.

Her research has focused on a range of issues in health economics, including the effects of changes in the price of emergency contraception on outcomes and burden of disease, and has involved analyzing large, proprietary health insurance databases. Prior to joining Analysis Group, Dr. Oza was a consultant in the Development Economics Research Group at the World Bank, where she designed and oversaw survey field work and economic analysis on access to HIV/AIDS treatment.
