Ms. Hunt specializes in providing analyses in finance cases involving complex securities, including mortgage-backed securities (MBS). She has been involved in all phases of the litigation process, from assisting clients in pretrial discovery to supporting academic and industry experts in report and trial preparation. She has supported experts in numerous litigations involving class action claims, allegations of violations of Sections 10b-5 and 11, and damages claims relating to the underwriting of mortgage loans. Ms. Hunt has supported academic affiliates in analyzing the performance of mortgages and MBS, conducting statistical sampling of loans, assessing damages and potential exposure of clients, assessing the risk quantification and investment strategies of investors, and evaluating both buy-side and sell-side due diligence. She has also evaluated repurchase agreements in the context of a multi-billion-dollar bankruptcy claim, has assisted experts in several auction rate securities matters, and has assessed damages claims involving trademark disputes.
Prior to joining Analysis Group, Ms. Hunt was a project analyst at Mintz Levin Cohn Ferris Glovsky & Popeo P.C., where she contributed to multiple securities litigation cases, including matters involving allegations of stock options backdating.
