Summary of Experience:
Mr. Vekeman specializes in health economics, health policy, and antitrust. In the health economics area, he supported two academic affiliates in their analysis of the relative efficacy and cost of two leading erythropoietic agents. He also has presented a number of abstracts and published on various health economics topics including hospitalization risk and associated costs, medical costs of various illnesses, and drug cost-effectiveness. Mr. Vekeman is a member of the International Society of Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research.
Mr. Vekeman’s antitrust work includes quantifying economic damages resulting from false advertising claims, as well as analysis of copyright infringement, common law trademark, and unfair competition issues.
