Summary of Experience:

James R. Emshoff launched IndeCap Enterprises Inc. in 1992 to provide consulting services on corporate restructuring issues and venture participation in the outsourcing of management service functions. Through his IndeCap role, Mr. Emshoff served for 15 months as acting President and CEO to facilitate the strategic restructure of MedQuist Inc., a $300 million NASDAQ company providing information products and services for the health care industry. He has written four books on various aspects of management including The New Rules of the Game (Harper Business, 1991). It deals with career path issues faced by middle managers because of corporate changes and draws heavily from Mr. Emshoff’s experiences in restructuring organizations he has headed. Before starting IndeCap Enterprises, Mr. Emshoff held senior executive positions at companies in diverse businesses. He served as Chairman and CEO of Wellesley Medical Management Inc., a privately held corporation operating the largest network of walk-in primary care physician offices; President and CEO of Citicorp Diners Club, Inc.; and Group Executive at Campbell Soup Co., with responsibility for the U.S. Soup Division.
