Summary of Experience:
Dr. Landon has served as an economic consultant on numerous cases in the electric utility, coal, uranium, and natural gas industries. His energy work has involved such issues as antitrust, competition, performance-based regulation, relative efficiency, affiliate rules, pricing disaggregated services, cost allocation, and treatment of potentially stranded investment. On dozens of occasions, Dr. Landon has testified as an expert witness before federal district and state courts, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, and many state commissions. He has also worked on utility privatization and restructuring projects in several foreign countries. He has authored or co-authored more than 20 articles in academic and trade journals, two book chapters, and several monographs. His research areas include electric utilities, labor markets, vertical integration, and technological changes.
