Mr. Works applies economics, data analysis, and computer modeling to complex business issues. Over the past 10 years, much of his work has focused on business strategy, pricing, and market research for clients in the biotechnology and pharmaceuticals industries. Mr. Works has conducted competitive assessments of and developed product pricing and rebating strategies for high-profile products in a variety of therapeutic areas.
With expertise encompassing both R&D and commercial product strategy, Mr. Works has completed assignments for five of the 10 largest global pharmaceutical companies. His recent engagements have included the development of a long-term therapeutic area strategy for an international pharmaceutical firm, a pricing strategy for a new multiple sclerosis therapeutic, a pricing strategy for an existing rheumatoid arthritis therapeutic, a strategy for optimizing a brand’s investments across geographies and investment areas, and a generic-entry response strategy for one of the world’s top-selling drugs.
