Summary of Experience:
Ms. Pinheiro has an extensive background in quantitative analysis and finance. She has applied statistical modeling and financial evaluation to various analyses of market timing, firm solvency, mutual fund fees, stock exchanges, risk management, price modeling, and auction pricing. She also has significant experience in case management. Recently, she managed a number of litigation and non-litigation matters in Canada in which she supported experts in writing reports on topics related to transfer pricing, antitrust litigation, competition policy, and finance. Ms. Pinheiro has also co-authored expert reports on questions relating to the economic environment in different industries, as well as on the modeling and calculation of damages. Ms. Pinheiro has managed major U.S. cases and assisted U.S. experts in matters involving antitrust litigation, auction pricing, and patent infringement.
She has also developed and written abstracts and manuscripts on a range of pharmacoeconomic issues.
Prior to joining Analysis Group, Ms. Pinheiro served as executive director of the finance group of CIRANO, where she conducted applied research projects in collaboration with private and public partners, including work on hedge funds, style analysis, credit and operational risk, and the development of integrated risk management tools for practical applications.
