Academic Affiliate Chris Kemerer Receives INFORMS Information Systems Society Distinguished Fellow Award

The INFORMS Information Systems Society honored Analysis Group academic affiliate and University of Pittsburgh professor Chris F. Kemerer as a 2013 Distinguished Fellow for his intellectual leadership and academic contributions that continue to shape the field of information systems.
Professor Kemerer has published multiple influential research papers on the management of information systems and software engineering economics. He has also served as editor-in-chief of Information Systems Research and has held senior editorial positions at Management Science, MIS Quarterly, and IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering .
"I am honored to be recognized by the world's largest professional society for operations research, and I am fortunate to have worked with colleagues and students who share my passion for fostering technology innovation and defining industry best practices," notes Professor Kemerer.
Professor Kemerer, the David M. Roderick Professor of Information Systems at the University of Pittsburgh's Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business and an adjunct professor at Carnegie Mellon University's School of Computer Science, is an expert in information systems and software engineering, including antitrust, contractual, and intellectual property issues.
