For Second Consecutive Year, Analysis Group Is Named First in Large Company Category in
2013 Top Places to Work Survey
November 17, 2013
For the second year in a row, Analysis Group has ranked first in the "large company" category in the Boston Globe 2013 "Top Places to Work" in Massachusetts survey. The survey is based on input from more than 76,000 employees from 333 Massachusetts organizations. Analysis Group has consistently appeared in the Boston Globe's rankings for the past six years.
The profile accompanying the survey results recognizes Analysis Group for its commitment to creating a collegial environment where "everyone has a say regardless of tenure or role." In addition, Martha S. Samuelson, President and CEO of Analysis Group, emphasized the firm's dedication to treating everyone with respect, and to honest feedback and fairness, rewarding performance when employees meet their goals and providing extra assistance when they are falling short.
"This honor goes to all our employees, across all our offices," Ms. Samuelson said. "We have worked hard to create a rigorous yet supportive environment in which people feel they can do their best work. Year in and year out, we focus on preserving our collaborative culture, which is critical to serving clients effectively. Our team-based culture, where everyone's opinion counts, and our one-firm approach to client service have helped the firm continue to grow."
The annual "Top Places to Work" survey honors employers in four size groups: small, medium, large, and largest. The survey recognizes the most progressive companies in Massachusetts, based on employees' opinions about the leadership, appreciation, career opportunities, compensation, and management practices in their organizations. Private companies and nonprofits as well as publicly held businesses are included in the analysis. This year's results are based on a survey conducted by employee survey firm Workplace Dynamics of more than 76,000 employees in 333 Massachusetts organizations. The survey measured responses to statements regarding six key factors related to employee happiness, including company direction, execution, employee connection, work load and responsibility, management, and pay and benefits.
The firm was recently noted as one of the top 100 women-led businesses in Massachusetts in a Commonwealth Institute/Boston Globe survey. Earlier this year, Analysis Group was among the top 15 workplaces in Vault.com's survey of the best consulting firms in the country, for the third year in a row.
