June 18, 2015

Managing Principal John Jarosz has been named to IP Law360's new article series, Voices of the Bar, which launches in June 2015. The series will feature commentary and insights from 50 top intellectual property law experts. As a member of the panel, Mr. Jarosz will provide observations and remarks on key topics and issues in IP law.

Mr. Jarosz, director of the firm's Washington, D.C. office, has provided strategy consultation across a wide range of industries and delivered expert testimony in hundreds of depositions, trials, and hearings, focusing especially on matters involving IP, licensing, commercial damages, and antitrust. He is an avid author and lecturer on the economics of intellectual property.

In the first article in the series, "Where Do We Stand One Year after Alice?" (June 18, 2015), Mr. Jarosz notes that the U.S. Supreme Court's decision in Alice Corp. v. CLS Bank has "led to more critical, and certainly more careful, evaluation of business method patents."
