Managing Principal Susan Tierney Receives Leadership Award from New England Women in Energy and the Environment

New England Women in Energy and the Environment (NEWIEE) recently honored Managing Principal Susan Tierney with the 2013 Leadership Award at the organization's annual awards gala in Boston. Dr. Tierney received the award in recognition of her professional achievements and commitment to excellence, as well as the positive example she has set for women in the energy industry. NEWIEE also presented achievement awards to Susan Coakley of Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships, Mary Beth Gentleman of Foley Hoag LLP, and Rebecca Tepper of the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities.

"These accomplished women exemplify what it means to be leaders in the field," said Cheryl A. LaFleur, commissioner of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and the keynote speaker at the event. "They embody NEWIEE's mission to educate, develop, and promote women in the field of energy and the environment."
