Several members of Analysis Group's Health Care practice were recognized for their participation at the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) 18th Annual International Meeting. Our consultants received a research podium presentation award and four poster finalist ribbons at the meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana, May 20--22, 2013.
Manager Brad Rice received an ISPOR Research Presentation Podium Award for his general podium presentation, "Medical, Drug, and Work-Loss Costs of Diabetic Foot Ulcers." Dr. Rice showcased research from an analysis of the economic burden that diabetic foot ulcers place upon the U.S. health care system. This and a related poster presentation drew from research conducted by Analysis Group and Organogenesis Inc.

In total, Analysis Group consultants and colleagues moderated one podium session, delivered five podium presentations, and exhibited 24 posters focused on various treatment patterns and cost-of-illness studies associated with diabetes, melanoma and other cancers, lupus, depression, schizophrenia, pain management, and opioid abuse, as well as workplace productivity loss, comparative effectiveness, and health care resource utilization.
