The article, "Engaging the Next Generation of Talent Is the Big Challenge for Consultancy Firms" (November 10, 2014), features insights from several executives on the values of the current generation of job seekers and the importance of professional development and diversity.

The impact of the economic crisis on recruiting and retention practices was discussed by leaders from several firms. Ms. Samuelson noted Analysis Group's decision not to shrink staff during the economic downturn: "During the financial crisis we experienced a modest downturn, so as partners we took a decision to absorb it. It's a cultural thing never to have had a lay-off."
