Summary of Experience:
Mr. Lefebvre specializes in the application of biostatistics and economics of health outcomes research. He has conducted and directed numerous studies in pharmacoeconomics, epidemiology, and health outcomes research in a variety of therapeutic areas such as anemia, oncology, myelodysplastic syndromes, renal diseases, HIV, Alzheimer's disease, hypertension, asthma, cardiovascular diseases, and neurological disorders. His recent work in the health care sector includes numerous clinical trials and medical claims data analyses to investigate resource utilization patterns, patient-reported quality of life, clinical effectiveness, direct medical and indirect productivity costs of a disease burden, and cost-effectiveness associated with the use of pharmaceuticals. His scientific research has been published in peer-reviewed medical, health economics, and managed care journals. It has also resulted in numerous presentations at health care conferences as well as presentations to the FDA and CMS. Mr. Lefebvre has served as a peer reviewer for several journals, including Chest, Value in Health, Annals of Oncology, Nephrology Dialysis Transplantation, Expert Review of Pharmacoeconomics & Outcomes Research, and Acta Oncologica. He is also an elected member of the International Society of Pharmacoepidemiology and the International Society of Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research.
