Professor Ouellette specializes in the evaluation of performance and productivity in the health care sector. Previously, he was a visiting researcher at Harvard University and at the Center for Economic Development and Research at the University of Montreal. Professor Ouellette has advised Canada's federal and provincial governments and organizations such as the Federation of General Practitioners of Quebec on matters ranging from public health policy to federal-provincial transfer programs. Professor Ouellette is a former Vice President and Director of the Canadian Society of Economic Sciences. His work has appeared in leading economic journals including the Journal of Economic Theory and the Journal of Econometrics.
