Summary of Experience:
Mr. Starfield specializes in the application of economics, finance, and accounting to problems in complex business litigation. He has provided assistance to attorneys in all phases of litigation including case strategy, the discovery process, quantification and rebuttal of damages, expert testimony, and settlement negotiations. Mr. Starfield has a broad range of experience in cases involving antitrust, banking, bankruptcy, construction, fraud, intellectual property, real estate, and contract disputes. He was responsible for the overall management of all aspects of the financial and economic analysis in a fraudulent conveyance litigation involving one of the largest bank failures in U.S. history. He is a Chartered Accountant of South Africa, a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants, and a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in the United Kingdom. Previously, he was Senior Manager in the Dispute Analysis and Corporate Recovery Services Group of Price Waterhouse LLP.
