Summary of Experience:
Dr. Maddux specializes in planning, designing, and implementing statistical and qualitative analyses for litigation, regulatory, and strategy engagements. He focuses much of his work in the application of economic principles to energy-related issues. He recently led a team of analysts in an assessment of the impacts of a proposed EPA rule on natural gas pipeline infrastructure. He also developed and programmed SAS-based generation and fuel price models for multiple Federal Energy Regulatory Commission-delivered price tests. Dr. Maddux has also had experience valuing employee stock options for large corporations using a binomial lattice model, evaluating damages in the long-term health care industry, and studying health care insurance rescission policies.
