Summary of Experience:
Ms. Filipek has more than 10 years of experience managing a variety of health care strategy, health policy, and litigation engagements at Analysis Group. She has consulted to health care insurance payers and providers, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, and public policy organizations. She has assisted pharmaceutical companies on global health outcomes research, and she has supported the formulation of coverage and reimbursement strategies for product development and commercialization. She has performed systematic literature reviews of a range of diseases and therapeutic areas; devised cost-effectiveness and budget impact models to support product investment; and executed value proposition and differentiation analysis in the context of portfolio management. Ms. Filipek’s expertise in commercial damages includes conducting economic analysis for insurance companies concerning claims filings, hospital charges, and liability for policy rescission, and assessing more general loss-of-use damages in litigation involving construction defects and the failure of specialized machinery. In addition, she has managed cost-benefit analyses for public policy initiatives, such as the economic impact of possible breakthroughs from stem cell research funding. Prior to joining Analysis Group, Ms. Filipek worked at the International Finance Corporation (World Bank) and Broadview International.
