Summary of Experience:
Mr. Benenson specializes in the evaluation of economic damages in complex commercial disputes. He has worked on numerous litigation and consulting engagements involving breach of contract, intellectual property, antitrust, business interruption, bankruptcy proceedings, royalty investigations, and electric and gas utility rates and cost of service. Mr. Benenson has been involved in all phases of the litigation process, including discovery, expert reports, deposition, and trial preparation. He has assisted in developing case strategy and complex damage models, and conducted statistical data analyses. He has also prepared numerous economic studies for companies to document intercompany pricing for compliance with the Internal Revenue Code Section 482. Mr. Benenson has testified before the Public Utility Commission of Texas in matters related to electric utility rates and cost of service.
