Summary of Experience:
Professor Ryan has taught courses in the areas of accounting, valuation, and financial statement analysis and on accounting and valuation issues in the entertainment, media and technology industries. He is the author of Financial Instruments and Institutions: Accounting and Disclosure Rules (Wiley, 2002) and both an editor and editorial board member for several academic journals including the Journal of Accounting, Auditing and Finance. Professor Ryan currently serves on the Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council. He has testified in several cases, including a recent case in which his expertise was used in the valuation of a large group of movie theaters.
