Summary of Experience:

Professor Chambers is an authority in corporate finance, investment analysis, portfolio management, and capital markets, and has authored expert reports and provided expert testimony in deposition and at trial on these issues. His consulting experience also includes developing and improving credit evaluation models, templates, and scorecards; evaluating and validating internal credit evaluation systems; reviewing corporate credit evaluations; assessing economic and capital models; and reviewing and simulating rating agency ratings.

Prior to his academic career, Professor Chambers spent more than 20 years assigning and overseeing credit ratings, and developing and overseeing credit models, internal credit scoring systems, and default risk assessment processes for Standard & Poor’s. Professor Chambers also headed Standard & Poor’s Rating Evaluation Service, which evaluates the impact that contemplated strategic or financial initiatives would have on a company’s credit ratings.
