Summary of Experience:

Dr. Leaf-Herrmann has nearly 20 years' experience as a business strategist in the life sciences, automotive, chemical, and financial services industries – specializing in strategy development and portfolio management for clients in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. With expertise spanning R&D and commercial strategy development, Dr. Leaf-Herrmann has consulted on both corporate and product-level strategy. His clients have included four of the 10 largest global pharmaceutical companies, two of the largest Japanese pharmaceutical companies, and medical device, diagnostic, and generics companies.

Dr. Leaf-Herrmann's recent engagements include performing a corporate valuation, developing a commercial strategy for one of the world’s largest selling drugs, designing and implementing a portfolio management process for a pharmaceutical company's R&D portfolio, and developing a long-term therapeutic area strategy for an international pharmaceutical company.

Prior to joining Analysis Group, Dr. Leaf-Herrmann was a principal at SDG Life Sciences, a unit of IMS Health’s Product and Portfolio Strategy practice. He is a Fellow in the Society of Decision Professionals.
