Analysis Group client Verizon Services Corporation was sued by Cheetah Omni LLC for claimed infringement of a patent related to technologies used in Verizon’s FiOS network. Based in part on testimony from Managing Principal Keith R. Ugone, the jury awarded the plaintiffs $5.4 million in royalty damages rather than the $20.8 million sought.

Yahoo! Found Not Liable in Patent Infringement Matter 
Analysis Group client Yahoo! was found not liable in a patent infringement suit filed by Bedrock Computer Technologies. Bedrock was seeking $32.4 million in claimed royalty damages, and a team from Analysis Group was retained to evaluate the claimed damages.
