Dr. Zhou has extensive experience applying microeconomic, financial, and accounting principles to issues arising in complex business litigation. Her intellectual property casework includes matters involving patent infringement, misappropriation of trade secrets, and other unfair competition claims before district courts, arbitration panels, and the International Trade Commission (ITC). In such disputes, Dr. Zhou assesses damages, injunctive relief, commercial success, domestic industry, remedy, bonding, and public interest. She also works extensively on tax and finance matters, conducting asset valuations in corporate acquisitions, analyzing complex cross-border transactions in tax disputes, and evaluating compliance and due diligence in issues related to mortgage-backed securities. Dr. Zhou has supported experts in all phases of the litigation process, including discovery, expert reports, at deposition, and at trial.
