Mr. Maloney specializes in the application of economic and finance theory to questions arising in complex securities and finance litigation, merger disputes, corporate governance, intellectual property, and tax matters. His litigation and advisory experience includes analyzing equities, stock options and derivatives, preferred and hybrid securities, government and agency fixed-income securities, and intangible assets for assignments related to business and asset valuation, tax shelters, insider trading allegations, and breaches of fiduciary duty and contract. Mr. Maloney’s experience spans a number of industries, including financial services, industrial goods and manufacturing, consumer products, real estate, energy, technology, life sciences, health care, and aerospace and defense. In these engagements, he has designed and performed analyses supporting export reports, critiqued opposing expert reports, and assisted with preparation for depositions and trial. Prior to joining Analysis Group, Mr. Maloney held positions in the monetary and capital markets department of the International Monetary Fund, and in the equity capital markets business unit of Robert W. Baird & Co.
