Summary of Experience

Dr. Sinha specializes in financial reporting, financial statement analysis, valuation, and data analytics in securities litigation. Prior to joining Analysis Group, Dr. Sinha was a financial economist in the Division of Economic and Risk Analysis at the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). At the SEC she supported enforcement actions on numerous disclosure cases and on Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) matters. Dr. Sinha also supported cases involving allegations of insider trading in the credit default swaps (CDS) markets and round-trip trading in the structured products markets.

Earlier in her career, Dr. Sinha held faculty positions at Boston University Questrom School of Business and NYU Stern School of Business. She also served as a visiting faculty member at Carnegie Mellon University and at Purdue University. She has taught numerous advanced-level courses on financial statement analysis, managerial and cost accounting, governance and control, and empirical research methods. Dr. Sinha has published in the Journal of Accounting ResearchContemporary Accounting Research, the Journal of Accounting, Auditing and Finance, and the Journal of Business Finance and Accounting.
