Summary of Experience

Mr. Raveendranathan specializes in the application of economic and financial theory to complex problems arising in telecommunications, securities, finance, and regulated utilities matters. He has supported numerous academic affiliates in all phases of litigation, including the preparation of expert reports, as well as deposition and trial testimony.

In a breach of contract litigation matter involving a spectrum auction, Mr. Raveendranathan led the development of an auction simulator and participant bidding strategies to estimate the auction outcome but for the breach of contract. In bankruptcy matters, he has managed the independent evaluation of massive amounts of data and valuation efforts. In eminent domain proceedings related to water utilities, he has supported leading experts in developing economic feasibility and municipal financing models and analyses presented at trial. Mr. Raveendranathan has also developed financial models to estimate damages in high-profile litigation matters related to mortgage-backed securities and collateral debt obligations. In an antitrust litigation matter related to foreign exchange, he has analyzed large volumes of trading data and chat transcripts.
