Dr. Chan specializes in the application of microeconomic theory and econometric methods to issues in business strategy and litigation. Her litigation and advisory experience includes analyses of residential mortgage-backed securities, mutual funds, bank regulatory matters, and proposed mergers in the lumber and chemical industries. She has also conducted studies to quantify the economic impact of non-bank lending, the effectiveness of rights protection mechanisms in the Internet domain name space, and the competitive marketplace changes related to the release of additional top-level domains in the Internet domain name space.
