Summary of Experience
Ms. Leonhardt specializes in the application of economic and financial theory to questions arising in complex securities and finance litigation. Her experience includes analyses of market manipulation in the foreign exchange (FX) and IBOR markets. In her work on USA v. Richard Usher, et al., she analyzed FX trade and chat data, prepared academic experts for testimony at trial, and provided data analyses and consulting support to counsel during various stages of the litigation and trial process. Ms. Leonhardt has also supported expert testimony in a number of bankruptcy and damages matters. In litigation matters related to the Lehman bankruptcy, she supported three economic experts opining on the impact and reasonableness of a collateral request.
