Analysis Group is proud to sponsor and participate in the CEA Annual Conference in 2018. The three-day program will feature two of Analysis Group's academic affiliates, as well as several of its consultants. Affiliate Marcel Boyer, Professor Emeritus of Industrial Economics at Université de Montréal, is serving as organizer for several CIRANO-Phelps-RIIB Sessions on competition policy and innovation, and will also chair one of the sessions. Dr. Boyer is also the organizer and chair of the State of the Art Lecture to be given by affiliate Dr. Jacques Crémer, of the Toulouse School of Economics, on “Competition Policy in the Age of Platforms.” In addition, Analysis Group Manager Anne Catherine Faye will chair one of the CIRANO-Phelps-RIIB Sessions on competition policy; Manager Marjolaine Gauthier-Loiselle will participate in the panel, “CWEC: Alternative Career Paths for Economists”; Associate Jessica Burley will present her coauthored paper, “Do Consumers Prefer Local? Evidence from Ontario's Wine Industry,” during the session “Economics of Wine and Food"; and Vice President Markus von Wartburg will serve as a discussant for another CIRANO-Phelps-RIIB Session on competition policy.
