Senior Advisor Susan F. Tierney will moderate a webinar titled “Climate Conversations: The Grid,” an installment in the National Academies’ monthly webinar series. Panelists will include former Colorado Governor Bill Ritter, Jr. (now heading the Center for the New Energy Economy at Colorado State University) and Lauren Azar (former public utility commissioner and special advisor to the Secretary of Energy, and now at Azar Law). The panelists will discuss how the US electric grid can adapt to meet the needs of a decarbonized and electrified country.
