Senior Economist Laura O'Laughlin will be a panelist in the session “From the Office to the Stand: Practice Points on Expert Witnesses in Competition Matters” at this event sponsored by the Canadian Bar Association (CBA) National Competition Law Section's Young Lawyers Committee. The panel will discuss how to work with expert witnesses in the context of merger review, corporate investigations, preparing for trial, witness interviews at the Competition Bureau, and on the witness stand at the Tribunal. This half-day symposium is tailored to lawyers and Competition Bureau officers in their first 10 years of practice.
