In this webinar, Analysis Group Vice President Minh P. Doan will join a panel to provide an in-depth analysis of recent developments in consumer class actions. The panelists will also discuss related issues and court cases. Ms. Doan’s segment, entitled “Tying Damages to Theory of Liability in Price Premium Class Actions,” will examine common methodologies used to estimate an alleged price premium for a falsely advertised product attribute. She will discuss two recent court opinions that highlight the importance of tying damages to plaintiffs’ theory of liability under these methodologies (as required under the US Supreme Court’s ruling in Comcast v. Behrend).
