July 5, 2017
The Society for the Advancement of Economic Theory (SAET) has named Analysis Group Affiliate Jacques Crémer
among its 2017 Elected SAET Fellows. The SAET seeks to advance knowledge in theoretical economics and to facilitate communication among researchers in economics, mathematics, game theory, or any other field related to economic theory. The society's Economic Theory Fellows are selected for their scientific excellence, originality, and leadership; high ethical standards; and scholarly and creative achievement. Professor Crémer, an expert in industrial organization and a member of the Research Faculty at the Toulouse School of Economics, is one of 14 nominees in 2017. The contributions of elected fellows may be recognized from several areas of theoretical economics, including pure and applied research, as well as government service. The primary qualification for fellowship is to have substantially advanced economic theory. This may be evidenced by an outstanding publication record; strong editorial board service; honorary, scientific, educational and professional achievements; or through the training of graduate students.
