Analysis Group Announces that Richard Levin, Saul Pannell Have Joined the Firm's Board of Directors

Analysis Group, one of the largest international economics consulting firms, announced that Richard Levin and Saul Pannell have joined the Board of Directors.

Richard Levin is the Frederick William Beinecke Professor of Economics, Emeritus, and President Emeritus of Yale University, serving as the school's president for 22 years. 

Dr. Levin also served on the Obama Administration's Council of Advisors for Science and Technology; co-chaired a review of the nation's patent system for the National Academy of Sciences, which resulted in the passage of the America Invents Act of 2011; and participated in a bipartisan commission to recommend improvements in the nation's intelligence capabilities. He also served on a government panel reviewing the US Postal Service, and on an independent panel appointed by Major League Baseball to examine the sport's economics. In addition, Dr. Levin serves as a trustee of the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, and as a director for American Express and Satmetrix.

Saul Pannell, former senior managing partner with Wellington Management Company, spent four decades building highly successful hedge fund portfolios with his “go anywhere” approach to high-return investing. Mr. Pannell led the firm's Capital Appreciation team and guided the firm's entry into research equity and capital appreciation. Prior to joining the Capital Appreciation team in 1991, Mr. Pannell worked as a global industry analyst, covering several industries. Mr. Pannell earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and his AB in economics, cum laude, from Harvard College. Additionally, he is a Chartered Financial Analyst and member of the Boston Security Analysts Society and the CFA Institute.
