Analysis Group Health Care Consultants Present at 2017 ISPOR Annual Meeting
May 19, 2017
Members of Analysis Group's Health Care practice will present one educational symposium and exhibit 14 posters at the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) 22nd Annual International Meeting in Boston.
We are presenting an educational symposium, “New Developments in Psychometric and Utility Methods for Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement in Health Economic Evaluations,” on Tuesday, May 23, from 7:15 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. Managing Principal Mei Sheng Duh will moderate the symposium, which will also include as panelists Analysis Group Affiliate John E. Ware, Jr., John E. Brazier, and Analysis Group Managing Principal Eric Wu. During this three-part symposium, participants will summarize lessons (old and new) that are at the foundation of conceptualizing and quantifying descriptions of health-related quality of life. They will then describe parallel developments in the utility field, and conclude with a “how-to” discussion on ways to address the common challenges in outcomes evaluation for health technology assessment submission.
Over the course of the conference, Analysis Group's Health Care consultants will present 14 poster sessions on a range of topics related to health economics and outcomes research. Four of the presentations are research presentation award finalists: “A Claims-Based Analysis Of Hepatitis A, B, and A/B Vaccination Series Completion and Compliance Among US Adults”; “Assessment of the Association Between the Burden of Carcinoid Syndrome Symptoms and the Quality of Life Among Patients with Carcinoid Syndrome in the United States Based on the Fact-G Instrument”; “Value of Transfusion Independence in Severe Aplastic Anemia from Patients' Perspectives - A Discrete Choice Experiment”; and “Healthcare Resource Utilization and Costs Among Adult Schizophrenia Patients Using Once-Monthly Versus Twice-Monthly Long-Acting Antipsychotics.”
