ISPOR's Annual European Congress to Feature New Outcomes Research from Analysis Group's Health Care Practice
November 2, 2017
Analysis Group will present one educational symposium and twelve poster presentations at the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR)'s 20th Annual European Congress in Glasgow, Scotland on November 4–8, 2017.
Vice President Jipan Xie will moderate an educational symposium titled "Evaluating Survival Benefits in Technology Appraisals of Innovative Oncology Drugs: Challenges and Practical Solutions." Vice President Keith Betts and Manager Jenny Zhou will serve as panelists to discuss different models to extrapolate survival data, including potentially modeling the effect for drugs that can "cure" the disease; adjusting survival estimates in the presence of treatment switching; and indirect comparison using single-arm trials or under non-proportional hazard assumptions.
This year's poster topics include a systematic literature review on the treatment of postpartum depression, the costs associated with disease progression in advanced melanoma, and the overall survival in patients with metastatic urothelial cancer by first-line therapy.
Analysis Group will be an exhibitor at the conference in Booth #123.
