In re: Corsica Linea PSO France Objet

An Analysis Group team was retained on behalf of French regional shipping and ferry company Corsica Linea in a European Commission (EC) investigation into whether Corsica Linea’s public service obligation (PSO) to ship from Marseille to ports in Corsica distorted competition. The team, led by Managing Principal Antoine Chapsal, Vice President Emmanuel Frot, and Manager Mario Luca, provided economic justification for the existence of the PSO; analyzed the environmental impact of different contractual forms for passenger transportation between mainland France and Corsica; and calculated the proper level of compensation of a shipping company by a member state for such a PSO.
